Minibus hire in Sri Lanka

It depends on the vehicle, so each listing on this page shows its exact seat count. Seats and luggage space are not the same thing, so tell us your group size and bags and we'll confirm it fits comfortably.

A minibus is priced per trip, not per person: the quote covers the vehicle, driver, fuel, highway tolls and parking for your route and dates. Tell us your group size, dates and route and we'll send one fixed, all-inclusive price. Larger vehicles cost more per day than a car or van, but the cost per person falls quickly for bigger groups.

A single larger vehicle keeps everyone together, is simpler to organise and gives more luggage room. Two vans can be cheaper and more flexible on narrow hill-country roads. Share your group size and route and we'll price both so you can compare.

Mini-coaches manage the main routes to Kandy, Ella, Nuwara Eliya, Sigiriya and the south coast well. A few narrow or steep roads suit smaller vehicles better — your driver will tell you honestly if a stop needs a different plan.

Yes. Every minibus here comes with its own experienced driver, and a proper quote already includes fuel, highway tolls, parking and the driver's meals and accommodation.
