  1. Day 1

    Colombo Airport (CMB) → Sigiriya Rock Fortress

    Overnight in Sigiriya

    We meet you at the airport and drive up to the cultural triangle, climbing the Sigiriya Lion Rock in the cooler late afternoon for the view from its summit palace before checking in nearby.

  2. Day 2

    Riverston

    Overnight in Kandy

    We head south towards Kandy through the Knuckles foothills, stopping at the Riverston viewpoint for its dramatic escarpment scenery, and arrive in Kandy for the night.

  3. Day 3

    Kandy

    Overnight in Kandy

    A full day in Kandy: the botanical gardens, a stroll around the lake, and the evening ceremony at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.

  4. Day 4

    Kandy

    Overnight in Nuwara Eliya

    A beautiful climb through the tea estates to Nuwara Eliya, the cool hill station of 'Little England', with a tea-factory visit along the way.

  5. Day 5

    Nuwara Eliya → Nine Arch Bridge

    Overnight in Ella

    We ride the celebrated hill-country train through mist and tea gardens down to Ella, arriving to watch a train cross the Nine Arch Bridge.

  6. Day 6

    Ella

    Overnight in Kitulgala

    A scenic drive out of the highlands to Kitulgala, the lush river town famous for white-water rafting and birdlife in its surrounding rainforest.

  7. Day 7

    Kitulgala → Colombo Airport (CMB)

    Overnight in Colombo

    A final riverside morning before the drive back down to Colombo for your onward transfer or airport drop-off.
