  1. Day 1

    Colombo Airport (CMB)

    Overnight in Wilpattu

    We drive north from the airport to the edge of Wilpattu, Sri Lanka's largest and least-visited national park, and settle in near the gate ready for a full day of tracking tomorrow.

  2. Day 2

    Wilpattu → Mihintale

    Overnight in Anuradhapura

    A long morning safari among Wilpattu's forest tracks and shimmering 'villus' — natural lakes that draw leopard, sloth bear and elephant. In the afternoon we transfer east, pausing at Mihintale, cradle of Buddhism in Sri Lanka, before Anuradhapura.

  3. Day 3

    Anuradhapura

    Overnight in Sigiriya

    A morning exploring the dagobas, monastery ruins and the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi tree of Anuradhapura, the island's first great capital, then a short drive to Sigiriya for the night.

  4. Day 4

    Sigiriya Rock Fortress → Dambulla Cave Temple

    Overnight in Sigiriya

    Climb the Sigiriya Lion Rock at dawn, past its mirror wall and frescoes, for the view from the summit palace. Later we visit the golden Buddhas and painted ceilings of the Dambulla cave temples.

  5. Day 5

    Colombo Airport (CMB)

    Overnight in Colombo

    A relaxed drive back to Colombo for your onward transfer or airport drop-off.
