"Google will send everyone the same way," he says, "so I go the other way." When the main road to Nuwara Eliya clogs with weekend traffic, Kumara slips onto a tea-estate road that most visitors — and most maps — never notice. It's ten minutes longer and, he insists, worth every one for the views.
